10 years later and Quinton is now 15, he's made some good friends at school and visits them fairly often, he still gets excited whenever his sister comes to visit, they have a very tight bond despite being raised seperately. at the moment he and his mother and father just finished breakfast and he was headed off to school.

Seeya mom, seeya dad! *he said. hugging the two briefly before heading out to go to school, he was already running a few minutes late*

*She emerges from the shower and goes to change into her outing clothes and meets back up with Gale* And maybe after this, we can go dancing sometime tonight. since Quinton is old enough to be left home alone now, and so far has been pretty responsible about it.

Also, how do you think tony is doing? it's still crazy that years here are only a few days, or even a week there..

After a little while the two leave the Cafe, having thoroughly enjoyed it's surprisingly tasty food and drinks and warm and inviting Interior, laying down to take a nap until Quinton gets home

The two awoke after an hour or two and just spent some alone time together, Once Quinton got home Jade made lunch for everyone was was on the couch writing notes in her journal. while Quinton was in his bedroom.

*Humming to herself*

*swimming in the lake just outside their cottage*

*Sets down her journal, and looks outside to watch him swim for a moment before she caved and went to put on her bathing suit. heading out to join him*

Hello Darling, enjoying your swim?

Oh... hey, yeah just getting some laps in. What are you doing out here?

Thought i might join you, if you wouldn't mind that is, please don't let me stop you from doing your laps, carry on, i like to see those muscles of yours flex, that, and i feel like a nice swim in the lake would be pretty relaxing, and fun *She chuckled and walked into the lake. going about breast deep and just hanging out there*

Aright then..... *goes back to his laps*

*Just enjoying swimming around and watching him. smiling softly in admiration*

*Coming out of his room to make himself something to eat and chill on the couch*

*after a couple more laps* Everything okay?

*Floating on her back with her eyes closed and just relaxing. then she straightened up and looked at him.* Hm? Of course dear. oh! Are you hungry? I can make you a little something if you'd like. perhaps a smoothie? *She said as she started heading out of the lake*

That sounds good, sure.

Lovely *She smiled and headed inside to take a quick shower and change back to her regular clothes. then making both her, Gale, And Quinton a Smoothie*

*Finished making their smoothies, pouring each of them a glass and setting them on the living room table*

*comes out the shower, drying off with his towel and grabbing his smoothie* So, what's the news of the day?

Sixteen, but she got an early admission, Youngest to get accepted. But she was always one to put her studies above everything else.

*hands him the application* Then you better apply and send in your transcripts, and your essay should be impressive. They only take a handful of students a year, and of those few are ever younger than 18. So you have to make yourself stand out.

*his face lit up and he hugged his dad tight* THank you thank you thank you thank you!!! I'll get started right now!!! and i'll study even harder now! THIS IS AMAZINGGGGG!!! You're the best, Dad! *he said. hurrying to the kitchen and sitting at the table to start filling it out*

I can see that. he'll have to study extra hard though..

He'll do well, i'm sure of it.. who knows. maybe his sister will want to attend too. though... it isn't very likely.. considering where she attends now.

Well just because he has power, it doesn't mean he'll do well with it. He'll have to learn the spells. Unlike Araavos and his god powers, we have magic flowing through us, so we don't have to tap into the magic of reagents, or runes. But we can't just will things to happen, we have to manipulate the magic, either within ourselves or within the world to cause things to happen. Otherwise, his power?.. It's useless.

Lily on the other hand, even if she gets the spell right, the chaos of the orb it'self can twist her intentions, causing random things to happen. Sorta like when he blew up the toilet. Which is why I suspect his magic will be wild as well. Strixhaven will help him focus and channel his magic. But again, there will always be a risk every time he uses it.

Bless his heart he was so upset when he did that, but i mean.. that was one way for us to discover if he has your abilities. it makes me wonder if Quinn has your powers too. i'd imagine she does though. and if not, she's bound to learn magic of sorts at Araavos's School.

*Finishes filling out his Application and comes out of the Kitchen* All done

That was awefully quick, admissions aren't even for a few months yet, you sure you want to send it with your first draft? As i've said, they only take a handful of students, and of those, almost none are as young as you, unless they see something special. Does what you have on the the application and in the letter make you special? Or do you want to take some time to work on it?

After finishing up the Letter The family all got settled on the couch. well.. Lily and Gale did. Jade Called it a night not long after the letter was finished and went to sleep in the guest room just in case, and Quinton also went to bed.
